Information we collect from you any time you visit and/or request to receive information from our website – the web server records this access data in a log file. It includes the accessed domain, the date and time of access, HTTP request, bytes transferred, description of the used web-browser, Internet Protocol (IP) address as well as HTTP status code. However, in principle, the collected data cannot be assigned to a specific person. Without any context, this isolated information is no personal data. The user remains anonymous. The data is not linked to any other data; however, the figures are being aggregated and evaluated for statistical purposes. A direct access to this data is being disabled and may only be accessed by the provider of the web server for security purposes. It will be automatically deleted after three days.

b. Cookies

The maps on this website are provided by OpenStreetMap. OpenStreetMap belongs to the OpenStreetMap Foundation, 132 Maney Hill Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands B72 1JU, United Kingdom. It collects geographic data, which are freely available for its intended purposes and stored in a database.
When you access our website, initially there will be no connection to the servers of OpenStreetMap. The image of the map will be blocked until you agree to the storage of cookies and its privacy statement.
If you access this website on the following subjects: e.g. institute, region, continent organizational unit, you will be connected to OpenStreetMap Foundation server and your data will be transferred to display embedded maps. For further information about privacy regarding OpenStreetMap, please see the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s privacy policy.
While connecting to display maps, the following data will be transferred to the server of OpenStreetMap:

  • IP adress,
  • browser and device usedm
  • operating system,
  • the website which is redirecting you to the OpenStreetMap Foundation (referring site), and
  • date and time of visitor request.

If you have a user account with OpenStreetMap, and are logged in at the same time you visit our website, the following additional data will be transmitted to OpenStreetMap’s server:

  • user ID,
  • email address associated with your account and
  • content blocked by the user as well as associated messages.

Integration is based on article 6, paragraph. 1 p. 1 DSGVO to make our website more user-friendly.
If you deactivate JavaScript at your browser, you may prevent any data transfer to OpenStreetMap. However, then you may not be able to use the map display.
